Earlier this week, I sent out a mass sms to see if my IT Club seniors are interested in going for dinner at Arab Street on Friday. Initial responses I got were:
Amy:
Sure. Are you talking abt that zamzar place near the mosque?
Veera:
Sorry busy!
Tiim:
This fri i can’t
KY:
Hmmm. Might have something on. Let me know anyway.
At this point, Amy comes back and says:
Hey shall we meet on sat at dhoby ghaut instead? Ky says he prolly can’t make it on friday..
Okay fine. I told her I’m fine, ask Tim (since to kill two birds with one stone can have an outing and discuss the stupid vacation plans.)
She said:
Ky and me can make it.. Tim says confirm later.. Haven’t asked chris and veera..
Since I had Chris in my messenger window and it sounded like Veera is damn busy, I told her their status. I also asked why not Arab Street?
Ky says he doesn’t want to eat at arab st.. And the cathay is at dhoby ghaut, so we can watch a movie too.. :-)
Anyway, so I wanted to know how come he doesn’t want to eat there so I sms-ed him directly (and twice! And one more time on MSN!) but never got a response. Furthermore, I got accused, on Saturday morning, of this (after I decided, I’d rather play Anno 1404 and do work than go out):

After I re-read all that, I realized there was a point I misread: that it was Amy’s idea to watch a movie, rather than KY.
Anyway, I just wanted to know why not Arab Street and somehow I got accused of playing games. Don’t I have a right to know since I kickstarted this thing in the first place??? Geez.
So it just kinda bothers me and I want to let it out. But hey, I finished the second last campaign on Anno 1404 so it’s all good. Hah!
