M&Ms, snickers, mento’s yoghurt bottle, dove chocolate, oreo wafer sticks, monmilk, dutchlady sterilised milk, wall’s all natural mango, mini poppers ice cream, magnum ice cream, moo sandwich icecream, mini cornetto and youcan ice cream. We’ve been asked by AVA 2 remove them fr our stores. If u hve any of these items in yr hse, don’t eat them.
Dunno how true it is but better safe than sorry. According to the AVA site, the following items confirmed got melamime:
- White Rabbit Creamy Candy
- “Yili Brand” Choice Dairy Fruit Bar Yogurt Flavoured Ice Confection
- “Dutch Lady” brand of strawberry flavoured milk
- Yili Natural Choice Fruit Yogurt Flavoured Ice Bar with Real Fruit
Wikipedia has the overview of the situation. Recalls are happening everywhere now, including Singapore.

Seriously, I think things are a little blown out of proportion. People have been eating and drinking all these stuffs for the past N years and they never complained and now suddenly, they are panicking and having these products all taken out due to reasons like the milk content may have been contaminated. Come on, Singapore’s strict AVA control never ever detected these contaminants ever??? Its too big a hoo haa imo.. -_-”
Better safe than sorry. At least 4 products have snuck past AVA control liao. I think the important thing is that little kids don’t drink/eat it. So many babies got sickened and 4 died.
