Peer Influence

I know I should be studying but dammit I’m a procrastinator.

I was thinking of all my weird little quirks I have and, you know, they all came from somebody so I thought I’d list them down.

A while ago, I used to say “yep yep”. That was from JJ.

I tend to wrinkle my nose to show my disapproval/displeasure. That was from my sec 3 and 4 History teacher, Mr. Chiang Ky.

When my nose feels itchy, I would knead/hold my nose. That was from Melissa, my friend in SIS.

I say “Heya” a lot as a greeting (so much so that my guildmates associated me with it, hehe). It’s modified from Mercedes Lackey’s “Heyla”. Also, I have a tendency to swear “Ye gods” or just “Gods”. Also a Misty influence.

I sometimes pepper my words with ‘like’ in that valley girl way and that was also back from SIS. But I guess it’s pretty common nowadays for girls to talk like that.

I sit in the lotus position but with one leg with my foot on the ground because it was a favourite position of my 4th grade crush during PE.

[I'll add more when I think of them.]

I’m sad that I can’t set my facebook relationship status as “In a Relationship with Myself”. I think that’ll be hilarious. And true.

Gaaah, I’m not doing anything productive! I shall make an attempt now then.

PS. Despite my depressing posts about love at times, I’m actually feeling pretty happy these days, having talked with friends about it (or NOT talking about it, hahah). Thanks guys. I <3 you all berry berry muchee. I guess the blog over-represents my unhappy moments since I find a need to express those feelings.
