A Good Evening

So yesterday Joanna, her (boy)friend, Lung Kwan and I went to Settler’s Cafe. It was quite fun. We played Taboo, Munchkin and Jenga. Joanna was really good at guessing for Taboo! Almost telepathic! I won Munchkin through Divine Intervention! Heheh. But I lost Jenga (and we got quite far…)

I really enjoy playing Munchkin . Too bad I haven’t really looked for people to play it with ever since I bought the game (still haven’t tried the Cthullu one though I bought it…) Also, one good thing about having gone to Settler’s Cafe was that one of the staff there explained the game very clearly. I think I’ll take her approach the next time I play with people new to the game (the last time I explained was not as good).

(Btw, if anyone is keen, I’m always up for a session of Munchkin — best is with 3 or more people. I have “Munchkin” and “Munchkin Cthullu”. Heheh.)

A very nice sabo-each-other game. Heheheheheh.

We used to have a Jenga set at home… I wonder what happened to it? Yesterday was the first in a long time that I played it. Quite fun… though I lost =(

I think that’s about it. “That’s all folks!”

Let’s play one of these days! The Board Games Interest Group actually meets up on Tuesdays 5pm at the Olive Cove in Engin. I haven’t been to any of their meetings but just FYI in case you ever want to play. And since I’m on campus, I can play any time, hahah.

Nope, I haven’t played Citadels. It’s fun, is it?

yea I remember reading about the Board Games SIG in an email heh. Citadels rocks when there are like 5 and more pple playing. The element of sabotage sure is fun ^^

Hahah, I guess the whole point of most games are to sabotage the other player(s) — making it fun!

I’m going to get MySims once my local store supplies it. Interested in playing Wii?

Hahah, feel free to use the comments section to talk to me or others.

My mid-term test end on Thursday. ^^ We can try for the NUS board games interest group one again. They have the Settler’s Cafe outing at the last Tues of the month (30th Oct). It’s cheaper ($7/pax from 6-10pm).

Otherwise, we can just find somewhere to go and play my two sets of Munchkin (bwahahah). And I won’t charge anything for that ;). Does Chris have a set of ‘Citadels’?

For planning purposes, I’m generally free:

    Mon after 2pm
    Tues after 6pm
Wed after 12pm (odd wk) and after 4pm (even wk)
Thurs after 12pm (odd) and after 2pm (even)
    Fri after 12pm
    Sat FREE
    Sun after 4.30pm

huey: I can’t remember us playing Munchkins… Was it that time when I first bought it? I think I would have said that it’s just more fun to play with more than 2 people.
