There’s something to what he says that resonates with me, that I cannot brush him off as ‘just another’ motivational writer.
I bought his book “True Love” at the 2nd hand book sale down at the Central Library Forum yesterday. Well… it’s not just his book. In it is a collection of stories that his readers had sent in about love. You just gotta love his comments on it. “Weird love” is my favourite.
The stories have a soft sweetness to it… bittersweet love stories. “Every love story has an unhappy ending, sooner or later”. Something to laugh and cry over. What I find in the things he write is that he brings the essense of what love is and can be. Something true.
RF always makes me want to wax lyrical about his stories. One of these days, I’ll collect all his books and have it on hand to read. ^_^
