Feeling Violent
I think Kill-Stealer (KSer) should be the right word. I had just finished killing the vast number of minions this Defias Leader had and some damn mage comes along and KSes my boss! Damn mage just strolled right through the carnage that I had created and takes my damn boss! DAMMIT!
Did you know how many times I had to die to do it? Do you know? The next time I see the damn mage Anniemarie on Feathermoon, I’m so going to kick his/her ass. Strangling’s too good for you. There has to be some way to extend the torture.
What’s worse was, I found I was after the wrong bandit. *Cries* All my hard work down the drain. FUCKING HELL. THE FUCKING WRONG BANDIT. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGHHHHH.
What is wrong with me today? First the insanely long time to complete a quest. Then the bad luck to meet that KSer. Then, finding out it was the wrong quest. Then…
Arrrgh… I think I need a break from my human paladin. Feathermoon doesn’t seem to have much RP action. I mean, all the people I meet kinda just speak in the usual way (but strangely enough, no “LOL!!1!!” kinda stuff… but in rather contemporary language, yeah?) Heh, it doesn’t seem very different from the normal servers.
I’m going to play my dwarven hunter now. Kinda been neglecting her. She’s still level 7 while my paladin is already level 12 (I was just levelling/questing over the weekend). Like, seriously, WTF? But I guess it’s the fact that these melee types can take damage well… So I don’t have to spend time recuperating? Btw, I think the attack speed is pretty fast too. Hmm, when did I start my Vaccina (yes, I derived the name from vaccine; I’m pretty lame sometimes)? It might be Friday or Saturday, I can’t remember. Damn, now that I’ve tried RP and Normal servers, I want to give PVP a shot. But I guess I wouldn’t see much of the Horde being lowbie. Oh well, maybe concentrate on the RP character, I think it’s something like PVP too? Gotta check. But I kept seeing stuff on Local Defense about how one town or another is being attacked. So… Shall not go crazy creating characters then.

Note this is a draft; The character history is, imho, not a really good one:
But I find that I’m rather fond of my paladin. Vaccina (now I wish I didn’t choose such an awful name) is a nice girl, helps around town, doing her duty as protectress. She’s rather shy but also mature enough not to rise up to the taunts of her fellow Elwynians. She’s still a country girl at heart so she’s awed by the awesome size of Stormwinds. And as she wanders further afield (for more and more duties call her beyond the forests) and into the West. She’ll miss her homeland but there are people out there who still needs her. Duty, for her, comes first.
She hopes she’ll become a good Paladin one day. She wants to do Northshire Abbey, her home for the past 18 years, proud. Wouldn’t Sister Maladin be surprised to see her riding back to town on a beautiful Palmino steed one day? She’s a simple girl, with simple dreams. Protect the land, make her family and friends proud. Duty, loyalty and honour.
Her skill as Paladin has rapidly improved as she experiences the heat of battle. Experience has truly been a great teacher. Brother Grimmel (SP), too, has taught her much and she had dutily made use of the skills taught. She knows she still has a long way to go but she is content at the pace it is going. As she always says, developing skills is slow but sure!
On venturing out into the world, her knowledge of practical skills has grown. No longer is she dependent on Cook to give her meals. It is now up to her to forage and hunt on her own. She’s not a very good cook but she would proudly tell you that she cooks a mean pork dinner! Her frequent forays into the wilderness has brought a more familiarised understanding of the forest — and contact with a hermit herbalist. She was much taken by her new teacher’s vast knowledge of plants and have decided that, she would search the world over for herbs and their usage.
(Was reading some RPG thread about Paladins… hmm, major trait of Paladins = selflessness?)
Personality-wise, Vaccina is shy but can be rather exuberant when she becomes closer to the people she comes to know. Among friends, she is known to be rather happy-go-lucky too. Psychologically, she is driven to help people and that is largely the reason why she became a paladin – to help and protect. She has developed a strict code of honour and seeks a moral path in life.
Her parents died when she was older in life. She always feel deep sorrow over their death for they died in a cart accident. She doesn’t believe it was their time yet. And so this would prove to be the grounds of her belief in the sanctity of life. Although killing is an abhorrent part of her belief, she also believes that, if by ridding the world of evil, she would be able to protect vulnerable ones. And so in her travels, protection has superseded the sanctity of life…
She has a much older sister, Antibody (OCC: I’m being lame today). Because of the gap in their ages, they have never been close. Antibody had studied to become a mage in the faraway city of ________ (can’t decide where) when Vaccina was 5 and she had long left her homelands to live in _______ (can’t think of a mage-ish place that Antibody would go to right now). Although Antibody knows of her parents’ recent death, the two sisters had not yet gotten together (Antibody had missed the funeral; and even when she did came back to Northshire, she had only stopped by their graves, leaving no more of her presence than a sprig of her mother’s favourite flower, Peaceblossoms). Vaccina finds that she is resentful of her sister’s cold and unfilial ways and, in some ways, has always been trying to be the ‘better’ sister. Although ‘being good’ is a part of her nature, the pressure to be good has to be from the years in which everyone in town would gossip about Antibody’s ways. A communal town like Northshire could never tolerate a loner like Antibody and as she grew older, the more anti-social her behaviour became. For Vaccina, Antibody is symbolic of the ‘bad girl’ that she would not become. Her own behaviour could be a response to ‘not be’ a ‘bad girl’.
Vaccina has stern features, rather contradictory to her true nature. She finds that it gives her a rather unapproachable aura. She has rather mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it is useful to be perceived as some kind of stern, matronly type (even at her young age). On the other hand, it makes it harder for people to relax around her though, paradoxically, it makes people trust her more. Her kind of stern-ness stems from a sense of the kindness and people may have sensed that.
For many years, the truce between Alliance and Horde has been weak. As she came of age, even this fragile peace has been shattered. Being a child of Northshire, which borders the Burning Steppes, she has cast her lot with the Alliance in defending her land. She knows little of the outside world however and this view could very well change as she gets to know her enemies…

That’s all for now. I’m rather sleepy. Good night. I wish Vaccina would take a firmer shape in my mind. I don’t know why but I’m rather dissatisfied with my description. Oh well, will work on it more later. Night!
