LAME, lame song

LAME, lame song

Easy Breezy
by Utada Hikaru

I still remember the ways that you touched me.
Now I know I don’t mean anything to you.
You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y
Soon you’ll mean exactly nothing to me, [don't mouth me]

You look stupid, telling how your friends how you got the best of me
I intended to share the pleasure,
Oh, my now, I looked stupid,
we’re living in a world with a lot of pressure
It’s quite unneeded, to put more pressure on me.

You came in, went and left my house like garbage just passing by.
Hello, goodbye, you left a note saying, “’twas nice stopping by.”
I should have never ever let you inside.

I still remember the ways that you touched me.
Now I know I don’t mean anything to you.
You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y
Soon you’ll mean exactly nothing to me, does that mean anything to you?

Easy breezy, do you whistle to hide that you’re feelin’ lonely?
How do I breathe with all this pressure on me?
Easy breezy, when you mess up you know that’s when you know you hurt somebody.
How do I breathe with all this pressure on me?

You came in, went and left my house like garbage just passing by.
Konnichiwa, Sayonara, it was nice of you to stop by

Would it amuse you if I told you that I…

I still remember the ways that you touched me.
Now I know I don’t mean anything to you.
You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y
Soon you’ll mean exactly nothing to me, does that mean anything to you?

I still remember the ways that you touched me.
Now I know that I don’t mean anything to you.
You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y
Soon you’ll mean exactly nothing to me, does that mean anything to you?

You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y

You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y

(She’s got a new microphone)

(She’s got a new microphone)

(She’s got a new microphone)

You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y

(She’s got, she’s got a new, microphone)

(Doesn’t need you need anymore)

(Yeah, she doesn’t need you anymore)

(She’s got a new microphone)

(She’s got, she’s got a new, microphone)

(She’s got a new microphone)

You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y

(She doesn’t need you anymore)

(She’s got a new microphone)

You’re easy breezy and I’m Japanese-y

What an idiotic song! Geez, you’d think they could have written something better? Easy breezy? Japanese-y? wtf?

Compared to Love Psychedelico, UH totally sucks.

I heard it became her hit single. Well, that says alot about stuff like INTELLIGENCE and TASTES of the masses…

Sigh…

Sigh…

Sigh…

She should just stick to her Japanese songs, we English speakers would then be blissfully ignorant of what she’s saying and enjoy the music… I mean, I do have a favourable impression of J-pop but what AWFUL LYRICS!!! Sigh…

Maybe I should blank out my lyric-listening skills everytime I listen to that song… Man, it totally ruins the song… Sigh…

Since I’m listening to the Jap songs I have on this computer, I might as well comment about that song huey sent me the other day. It’s L’arc en Ciel’s “Feeling Fine”. It’s a great, happy song… Yaay! Happy is gooood… (it even alliterates!)

And my favourite SMAP song is “Lionheart”… Not only is it the first electone song I seriously memorized but it also has the honour of being the song that made me more interested in listening to Jap music… ^_^ Well, maybe it shares that honour with Speed and their “White Love” song… heheh… I think I can listen to either song all day… *happy sigh*

Ah well, that’s all then… not much else to say about Jap songs… heheh…

PS. I read the “Lionheart” lyrics ages ago and I remember finding the lyrics really sweet, teehee…
